  • Cut out and repaired the damaged section of kitchen vinyl flooring
  • Installed a matching or near-equivalent vinyl section with a neat seam finish
  • Replaced the failed kitchen ceiling light / lamp according to the existing fitting type
  • Tested electrical continuity and safe operation after completion
  • Removed waste materials and left the work areas clean and tidy

 

Challenges & Solutions
  • Several repair items were located across different areas of the property — The engineer worked through each item systematically to complete the full maintenance package during the visit.
  • The bathroom fans required both cleaning and functional checks — The vents were cleaned, and the electrical supply and fan operation were tested to confirm effective ventilation.
  • The fridge and freezer components needed secure reinstatement — Replacement shelving and handle repairs were completed with attention to alignment and daily usability.
  • The kitchen vinyl had a localised damaged section — The affected area was cut out and repaired with a matching or near-equivalent finish to improve safety and appearance.

 

Final Outcome

The approved general maintenance works were completed successfully. The bathroom extractor fans were checked and cleaned, the fridge and freezer fittings were repaired or replaced, the damaged kitchen vinyl section was made safe and presentable, and the kitchen ceiling light was restored to working order.

All repaired and installed items were tested on completion, and the affected areas were left clean, tidy and ready for normal use.
