Built-In Electric Oven Replacement — Lincoln

Project Overview

British Builders completed a built-in electric oven replacement at a property on Fitzwilliam Place, High Street, Lincoln. The existing oven was removed from the kitchen unit and replaced with a new standard built-in electric oven, supplied with the required connection accessories and fixings.

Although this was a focused appliance replacement, the work required careful disconnection, safe isolation, cabinet fitting, electrical reconnection, alignment and full operational testing to ensure the new oven was secure, functional and ready for use.

Scope of Work

• Disconnected the power supply to the oven circuit before removal
• Carefully removed the existing built-in oven from the cabinet housing
• Safely isolated and checked the existing electrical connection
• Prepared the cabinet space for the replacement appliance
• Positioned the new built-in electric oven into the existing housing
• Connected the new oven to the existing power supply using suitable accessories
• Secured the appliance with appropriate fixings and mounting screws
• Checked that the oven sat level, stable and flush with the surrounding cabinetry
• Tested the oven functions to confirm correct operation
• Removed packaging, debris and the old appliance from site

Challenges & Solutions

Final Outcome

The old built-in oven was safely removed and replaced with a new electric oven. The appliance was securely fitted, connected, tested and left fully operational.
